 WANTS : SMITHS SPRING
I have an internal door that used to swing on a brass plate set into the tiles that has "Smiths Spring" printed on it (see picture). The piece of brass piping that fits into the brass plaque on the floor measures 2.5 cm diameter by 1.8 cm long. I would like to rehang the door. Has anyone got the spring I require, please?

Saw your message. We actually had the 4 broken springs made by a commercial spring manufacturer in Australia - "National Springs".
I am interested in the history of the spring if you have come across any?
