My Silvertone broke last week - one of the cogs totally worn down from years of use. Scoured the internet (found your enquiry from a Google search), then came across Dereve. Have just purchased a brass domed Imperial wind up door bell for £24.17 including VAT and postage from this company. Call them on 0121 5537021 to order, or visit website to view. This site doesn't allow me to paste the link in here, but Google Dereve and you'll find it under Dereve Group.

I am also looking for a Silvertone doorbell. The one with a domed aluminium cap which turns to wind it up and also acts as the bell. The whole bell is about 70-80mm across and screw onto a plastic/bakelite base. Did you find one. Do you have a spare one now you could sell me?
