OFFERS : APRIL 2007 RECLAIMED JARRAH WOOD FLOORING 55 SQM
April 2007 - Reclaimed and imported from Australia
Supplied in 'as is' condition. 90mm x 20mm x random lengths.
I have a minimum of 55 square metres.

See the attached photo's for the quality and character of this timber, it is exceptional. I imported more than I required for my own flat and now wish to sell on the surplus. The timber will need sanding and sealing after it has been laid.

Below is text from a wood journal on the properties of Jarrah timber (note: most of the wood for sale appears to be heartwood and well aged.)

Sapwood Color
The sapwood is a paler version of the heartwood color, which is a uniform pink to dark red, turning to rich brown with age.

Heartwood Color
The heartwood is a rich dark brownish red, sometimes marked by short, dark brown radial flicks on the end grain and boat shaped flecks on flat sawn surfaces. Wood often has black streaks with occasional in-grown bark. Exposure changes the red color of the wood to a rich-mahogany hue. Degree of color variation between boards is reported to vary from moderate to high.

Recycled timber is seasoned and cured so it is a stable product. Many older timbers are finer grained, so they are easier to work and provide an excellent finish. Finally, recycled timber has character. It's loaded with unique features that are best seen once filled, sanded and sealed. See the pictures of our flat.

The jarrah flooring was sourced from demolition projects around Australia. The timber then went through a painstaking process to ensure it is sound and ready for sale.

If interested the terms of payment will be negotiated.

We have been looking for Jarrah, do you still have any? If so, how has it been stored? and would you be prepared to split the consignment as we are only looking for approx 30sq m.
Thank you in advance.
