OFFERS : EXHIBITION PEDESTALS FOR SALE

The Royal Academy has some exhibition showcase equipment for sale, consisting of one large plinth and base (Item One), three drawing display tables (Items Eight, Nine and Twelve), two pedestals (Items Thirteen and Fourteen) and one large platform base (Item Fifteen).

The cases have been beautifully made by designers who originated as furniture makers, and the quality does show. Unfortunately we have to sell them on as the Royal Academy has no storage space for them. We have only used them this autumn for our main galleries show, so their condition is as good as new.

All items are matching. The pedestals have painted facing (in grey-brown) with solid stained mahogany corner detail. The three display tables have a stained mahogany underframe and ends. The MDF table hood is clad in industrial felt, wrapped around a bull nose and fixed underneath the hood.

All items are made to GIS specifications and fabricated with zero-formaldehyde MDF, mahogany veneer, waterbased paint and solid mahogany detail.

These tables are made up of four components: the two square frames which make up the support for the table hood; and the triangular table hood itself which splits in two lengthways for ease of transportation.
