For some time now I have owned five original cast iron No brigdeplates from the Southern line.They are all the same size - 12" x 16" and quite heavy.Some still have their original handmade (clout) nails and by this I know they are original.The numbers would have been fixed above the railway brigde that the train went through.They must be C1920's.The no's I have are 21-22-24-26-31.I want sellthem as a joblot. OFFERS : HUGE BARREL BUTTER CHURN CAST IRON STAND
Fabulous huge wooden (oak?) barrel butter churn on large cast iron stand with crank handle for inverting/turning. Very impressive display centrepiece. Bought for £175 about 5 years ago and displayed amongst my collection of bygones in an outbuilding ever since. But - we're moving! All large things must go. Price: £95 for fast sale - buyer collects.
